My Southern Health magazine

A 16 page, consumer facing publication aimed at increasing lung cancer screening among the Middle Tennessee community for Vanderbilt Health.

Objective

VUMC was searching for a way to engage current and prospective clients in the community by providing them helpful and preventative care information. The first targeted service-line: increasing lung cancer screenings.

Solution

Vanderbilt had recently launched a re-designed digital content hub called My Southern Health, which celebrates the region’s culture, traditions and focus on family. To build on this foundation, we proposed a 16 page service-line specific print publication to help reach and educate the community on the services that were available in their own backyard. As an extension of the new My Southern Health blog brand, we maintained a look and feel that is approachable, friendly, informative and helpful. As Art Director, I was responsible for the design of the publication with oversight by the Creative Director.
